Nuevo Vallarta West

Nuevo Vallarta was born in the 1980s as one of Mexico's most ambitious tourist projects. The federal government, in collaboration with private developers, designed a beach destination planned from scratch: navigable canals inspired by Florida, golf courses, all-inclusive hotels, and miles of virgin beach.

The west zone, facing the ocean, was the first to develop. Major all-inclusive resorts like Mayan Palace, Grand Velas, and Paradise Village established here, attracting tourists from around the world. Nuevo Vallarta beach became synonymous with family vacations, with its golden sand stretching for miles.

Unlike destinations that grew organically, Nuevo Vallarta West was designed with modern infrastructure from the start: wide streets, underground utilities, planned green areas, and controlled access. This planning translates to a more orderly living experience and reliable services.

Today, Nuevo Vallarta West represents the heart of Riviera Nayarit. Developments range from investment condominiums to luxury beachfront residences. El Tigre golf course, designed by Von Hagge, attracts golfers from around the world.
