Marina Vallarta

Marina Vallarta was born in the 1980s as the most ambitious marina development on the Mexican Pacific coast. Where there were once mangroves and estuaries, engineers designed a complex of navigable canals inspired by Florida marinas.

The project included everything needed to create a complete destination: the marina with capacity for hundreds of boats, the Joe Finger golf course, five-star hotels, and high-end residential developments. The marina attracted international sailors, positioning Puerto Vallarta on the world yacht circuit.

During the 90s and 2000s, Marina Vallarta established itself as Puerto Vallarta's most exclusive zone. Canal-front residences offered the possibility of having your yacht moored in the backyard, a luxury few places in Mexico could match.

Today Marina Vallarta maintains its premium status, though Punta Mita's development has attracted the ultra-luxury segment. The zone offers a unique combination: marina living with easy airport access, golf courses, quality restaurants, and proximity to both the historic center and northern tourist zones.
